Celebrate Falls City’s Rich, Honored History
Monday, April 17, 2017
A city isn’t just a place to live and work, it is also a living monument to its own rich history.
Since its founding in 1857, Falls City, Nebraska continues to evolve while still honoring the characteristics that make it distinct and historic. Following the arrival of the Atchison and Nebraska Railroad in the late 1800s, and the Missouri Pacific shortly thereafter, Falls City quickly grew into an economic hub and educational center.
Today Falls City continues to serve as a central hub for the four-state corner of Nebraska, Kansas, Missouri, and Iowa. City residents continue to honor their history, and use the lessons that they learn from that history to guide their future pursuits.
