Since its founding in 1857, Falls City, Nebraska continues to evolve while still honoring the characteristics that make it distinct and historic. Following the arrival of the Atchison and Nebraska Railroad in the late 1800s, and the Missouri Pacific shortly thereafter, Falls City quickly grew into an economic hub and educational center.
