Downtown Electric Project Update – November 2025The City of Falls City continues to make progress on the Downtown Underground Electric Project, which is improving the reliability, safety, and appearance of our downtown electric system.Cutovers Have BegunThe process of transferring customers’ electric service from existing overhead lines to the newly installed underground system is now underway. Watts Electric will contact each affected customer directly to schedule a temporary outage — generally lasting 1 to 5 hours — to complete the transfer.
