Falls City’s Community Medical Center, Inc., which re-opened in its new facility in November of 2009, is a 25-bed critical access hospital that offers a full range of services. Community Medical Center offers a broad range of specialists who provide local clinics on a regular basis.  These clinics include cardiology, cardiovascular studies, ear-nose-throat, general surgery, mobile vascular, nephrology, nuclear medicine, neurology, obstetrics, oncology, ophthalmology, orthopedic, physiatry, podiatry, pulmonology, urology, vascular and wound care.  Additional services include inpatient and outpatient surgery (including laparoscopic and laser), occupational therapy, physical therapy, speech therapy, cardiac and pulmonary rehabilitation, diagnostic and therapeutic radiology services (ultrasound, mammography, CT, MRI, nuclear medicine, Doppler studies), and comprehensive laboratory services.
