This beautiful facility has many displays of artifacts to preserve the history of our county. The museum is open April through October on Wednesday, Thursday, Friday from 2-4pm or by appointment. Please call 402.245.4407 for information.
Richardson County Military History Museum
Richardson County Courthouse (1700 Stone Street / Hwy. 73)
This museum has a large collection of exhibits and displays of war memorabilia, including photographs, uniforms, and equipment from WW I, WW II, the Korean War, the Vietnam War, and the Gulf War, and Company B, 134th Infantry, Nebraska Army National Guard. Open Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
This museum’s creation was spearheaded by our late mayor, Marshall Maddox, a Vietnam combat veteran.
