What steps are you taking right now to build a safe and secure community?
Creating, and maintaining, a safe community isn’t a task that is limited only to the professionals; in fact, it is a community-wide effort. National Night Out highlights how you can truly make a change by promoting police-community partnerships and by supporting a tight-knit neighborhood.
Every August, the residents of Falls City, Nebraska, and the surrounding region gather together for “National Night Out”. Residents celebrate their community while they learn how to report crime, attend informational exhibits, and watch engaging demonstrations. Residents also select at least one action they can take to make their community even better.
