Update for Old Hwy 73 and Bill Schock Boulevard

Friday, October 13, 2017

The City would like to update business owners and the public on the construction project for Old HWY 73 and Bill Schock Boulevard. Due to recent rains the construction for this project has been moved from October 13th to October 18th.  Milling the street surface will begin on October 18th and asphalt overlay will start on October 20th.  The city street department will be removing all signs from 35th Street south to HWY 73. The city discussed with the post office to temporarily move mailboxes back away from the street so businesses can continue to receive their mail during construction.  Once this project is complete, mailboxes will be put back permanently by the Street Department. If you have any questions feel free to contact City Hall at (402) 245-2707 or the Police Department at (402) 245-4422.
