The City of Falls City welcomes all Solar Eclipse enthusiast for the Total Solar Eclipse on August 21, 2017. We hope your stay in and around Falls City is a memorable one! While visiting Falls City don’t miss out on what our exciting progressive Midwest NEBRASKA town has to offer.

While you are waiting for this once in a life time event take a stroll down our main street to check out what our retail businesses have to offer. If shopping is not your thing check out our most famous artist/ illustrator, John Philip Falter’s Museum at 17th and Stone Street or take a walk through Falls City and Richardson County’s history at the Richardson County Museum at 14th and Chase Street. But wait, there is more! Falls City is one of the sites with the longest totality and we are excited our location is being chosen by many eclipse enthusiasts!  We are expecting a significant amount of spectators for this event.
